Disney World is just one of the great Florida attractions

From the off beat environment of Key West through the incredible experience of Little Cuba in Miami, the night life in South Beach with it’s unique cultural mixes, to old standby’s like the mermaids at Weeki Wachee springs (by the way, there’s a lawsuit going on between the owners and the water management agency which leases them the spring, so this historic 60 year old attraction could disappear soon), you can discover some things you simply won’t believe have been there all along waiting for you to finally show up. Skin diving, whether you snorkel or use scuba gear, in the Florida Keys - the chain of islands leading south from Miami, is both easily accessible and remarkably beautiful. A huge number of Florida attractions can be found in or around Orlando. Of course, the major attraction is Disney World, but you also have the Universal Studios theme park and a host of other unusual and specialized parks. Not to far from Orlando you can also visit the Kennedy Space Center. Aside from the water parks, you also can make easy journeys to beaches.
