Fantasy Swords in Artwork
I am a big fan of fantasy artwork, and a large part of the subject matter for many of the classic fantasy pieces happens to be monsters, warriors, and incredible fantasy swords. Some of the greatest artists in this genre, in my opinion, are Brom, Boris Vallejo, and Frank Frazetta. These are incredible artists, each able to create entire worlds with only canvas and paint. That is something I have always found amazing. Another one of my favorite artists, who also writes and designs swords, is Kit Rae. His imagination seems to know no bounds. For every fantasy sword he designs, he also paints or draws a scene and writes a story based on the history of the sword. It is this attention to detail, as well as providing just what his fans truly want, that makes him one of the most sought after artisans in the world. When it comes to fantasy weapons, few come close to matching Rae.
